one beautiful future.”
Portraits of us

The easiest yes
Surrounded by love, light and joyful hearts, Henry asked Reyanna to share forever with him—and she said yes. It was a beautiful beginning to the next chapter of our story.

The turning point
In December 2025, Henry reached out because he was worried about his mother’s health and wanted my medical advice. I genuinely wanted to understand what was happening and see if I could help, so I asked him, “Can you talk?”
We stayed on the phone for almost an hour. Most of the conversation was about his mom, but when we hung up, something felt different. For the first time, I realized how much I genuinely enjoyed talking to him. That phone call made him real to me.
After that, our conversations became intentional. We talked for hours, laughed, prayed, and shared our faith, our families, our fears and our dreams. The man I had kept at a safe distance slowly became part of my everyday life.
“I didn’t want my feelings to lead me. I wanted God to lead me. So I prayed about it, probably overthought it, and prayed some more.”
What began as a message across thousands of miles became a love grounded in prayer, peace and the quiet certainty that God was ordering our steps.
Forever in our hearts
Her love remains part of this celebration and the family we are becoming. We honor her memory with gratitude and carry her with us as we begin this new chapter.
